Formed in March 2001, KAT-TUN have been back-up dancers for the KinKi Kids, a live act at Shounen Club and various TV
shows, actors in dramas, and TV show hosts. Now KAT-TUN's long-awaited debut takes place in March 2006, with their very first
single "Real Face". 2006 will be a year of hard-work and publicity for them, as they plan their first album and a huge concert
tour. The album will contain studio versions of all their most popular songs that we've seen them perform so many times. It
will be called "Best of KAT-TUN".
Especially with the debut of member Kamenashi Kazuya (with NEWS leader Yamashita Tomohisa), KAT-TUN's popularity has
grown beyond "Johnny's Jimusho" fans. Kame and YamaP's duet single went straight to the top of the charts. As for KAT-TUN's
debut, besides J-Pop Queen Ayumi Hamasaki herself they are the only artists to get a triple number one spot at once (album,
single and DVD all at the same time)!
So this is what we've all been waiting for. No more live Shounen Club MP3 rips drowned out by screaming fangirls. We
now have a real studio CD to blast from our bedroom windows and cars. This is big, guys. And we've got to make KAT-TUN's debut
